Terms of Service

Last updated 30 June 2026

These terms govern your use of wishola (the “Service”). By signing in or submitting your details, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service does

wishola lets members of a network create a profile, search for people who can help, and connect through a mutual, double opt-in handshake. Private contact details are shared only when both members accept a connection.

Eligibility & accounts

You need a Google account to sign in and must be at least 16. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

Your content and consent

You keep ownership of the information you provide. By submitting it, you allow wishola and your group’s organisers to store it and show your public fields to other members of your group, and to share your private contact details with a member once you both accept a connection. You confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • provide false or misleading information, or impersonate anyone;
  • harvest, scrape, or bulk-export other members’ data, or use it outside the Service’s intended introductions;
  • spam, harass, or contact members other than through the Service’s handshake;
  • attempt to manipulate the system or its automated checks (for example, embedding instructions intended to influence search, ranking, or AI processing);
  • disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

Submissions are screened and may be held for review or removed if they breach these rules.

Organisers / administrators

If you run a network, you are responsible for who you invite, for handling your members’ data lawfully, and for moderating content in your group. You must have a lawful basis to collect and process the data of the people you add.

Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or suspend features.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, wishola is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of other members or the outcome of any introduction. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and request deletion of your data at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; we will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify members.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction. (Set your governing law / jurisdiction here.)
